Wind energy for SMEs

Does your business run on electricity? Then make sure you're in charge.

From warehouses to workshops, your operations rely on a steady supply of power. But the grid is crowded, prices are high, and solar alone won’t get you through the Dutch winter.

That’s where our WES model wind turbines come in. Built for small to medium-sized businesses. Made to perform all year round.

Your energy profile

If your business uses more than 60,000 kWh per year, you’re not alone. Many SMEs in construction, logistics, food production, or light industry are facing the same challenge: how to power your site affordably, reliably, and without grid headaches.

Wind energy offers a consistent, local supply, even at night and in the winter months. The WES windmill from Ecoways turns when you need it most, reducing your costs and your dependency on energy suppliers.

Curious what wind could do for your site?

Day and night

Businesses don't stop when the sun goes down. Whether you're charging machines, running refrigeration units or keeping a production line going, wind keeps delivering. And unlike solar, wind doesn't spike the grid. Generation is steady and even.

All year round

In winter, solar output decreases just when your consumption tends to increase. Wind production does just the opposite. Our models, with yields up to 150,000 kWh per year, give you control in all seasons.

"Ecoways exceeded our expectations."

“The new WES turbine produced 240,000 kWh in its first year, far more than our older Lagerwey models at 180,000. It outperformed our expectations, and working with Ecoways was very smooth.”

Wind energy for large farms

A smarter solution for congested grids

In more and more regions, businesses are hitting a wall with grid capacity. You can’t always buy or feed back electricity, especially during peak hours.

Wind provides a way forward. Its flatter generation profile avoids peak loads, making it easier to connect to the existing grid. And with battery integration, you can store power for when you need it.

Where can a wind turbine be placed?

That depends on your municipality. Some allow windmills on industrial sites; others require farmland or space within your building plot. Hub height (15m, 25m, 30m or more) is usually defined locally. But don’t worry - we’ll help you figure out what’s possible.
